Troubleshooting
There are two ways to play each song. First, you can just click on the songs title to play it (you'll see a little note next to each playable title). Or, if you see a little VCR-like control below each song, you can use that to play the song.
KidzSing works best in Netscape or Internet Explorer versions 4.0 and higher, though most 3.x versions should work as well. To see the VCR-type controls, you will need to have Java and JavaScript enabled in your browser.
When troubleshooting, the first thing to do is look at the little icon bar in the lower right of your screen and open the mixer or sound controls icon (there may be several).
Check to make sure that the MIDI volume is turned up on all of them. Often the MIDI control is muted.If you are having difficulty playing the songs (and are running Windows), try installing the latest version of the Microsoft Windows Media Player.1. Go to Microsoft Windows Update at: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
2. Click on the "Product Updates" link.
3. Scroll down to the Multimedia section and select the Windows Media Player.
4. Click on the "Download" icon at the top of the page to download and install the Media Player.
5. Exit your browser so the new settings can take effect. When you open the browser again, the songs should play.
If that still doesn't work, or you are using a Mac, try installing the free QuickTime Player (available for Windows and Macintosh.)

If you are running multimedia/jukebox software such as WinAmp, you will probably need to install the latest version of Windows Media Player (see above), as WinAmp and other multimedia software will overwrite normal browser settings for playing MIDI songs.
You may also need to reinstall the sound drivers for your sound card, they sometimes become corrupted and stop working properly.
If you are still unable to hear any music, please send me the following information:
1. Do you get any sound when you try to play the songs I attached?
2. What kind of computer do you have? (PC, Mac, etc)?
3. What Internet browser are you using (such as Netscape or Microsoft)?
4. What version of that brower (version 3 or 4)?
5. What kind of sound card do you have (you must have a sound card to play music)?
6. Can you hear any other kinds of music files (such as .wav or .mp3)?
7. Can you see little VCR-type controls under the songs?
